WASHINGTON, DC-According to a Georgetown University study released Tuesday, 79 percent of Americans are missing the point entirely with regard to such wide-ranging topics as politics, consumerism, taxes, entertainment, fashion, and professional wrestling.
While the article itself is humorous, this light hearted piece of satire is quite saddening. It reads out so many truthsnot just about modern American society, but also about the modern global society. We are so easily picked up by fads and trends that we don’t stop to ponder on whether thinking for oneself maybe the better option.
